No Adventures Today =(

Today is more of a ranting day than anything else, although I do have a few pictures from last night's adventure at the sports bar right off campus.  First off let me say that school work jammed into a four week period just sucks, it's like constantly having papers and tests and assignments and group work etc and I just don't like it at all.  I do like my classes though they are getting more interesting as time goes on which is good because it's tough waking up at 6:55 every day to go to class!  I have a paper coming up that's due next Monday that is on the effects of globalization on U.S. firms and whether or not I believe it is a good or bad thing.  Luckily for me I was smart enough to have began working on this Tuesday after I got the assignment because I just don't see me working on it in Florence this weekend.  Speaking of Florence... I have made the ultimate decision to travel alone to all of the places I want to go and if people choose to hop on my trip than thats awesome if not I'm going to enjoy the places I've wanted to go since before this trip began.  I don't want to let having company keep me from seeing Europe the way I wanted to see it.  So I'm pretty sure after Florence I'm either going to Barcelona/Madrid, or Berlin.  I'm actually not afraid to be traveling alone because I feel like I get a lot more accomplished that way and it allows me to think and act independently SO BRING IT ON EUROPE!
I feel like a lot of people who are reading this may worry about me traveling out there alone but I promise I'm taking all the necessary precautions to make sure I am safe at all times.  I have a cell phone that is international and emergency contact information for people at CIMBA so they can help, I printed out a map of where my hotel is located, I have limited amounts of Euro's on me, Mom has the location I will be staying at and I KNOW NOT TO SHARE TAXI'S WITH STRANGERS LIKE THE STUPID GIRLS IN TAKEN!  I also don't plan on exploring when it's dark so yay for me =)  So no worries I got this =D!

Ok now for the bar on campus ITS MADNESS! you can get a whole pitcher of wine on tap there for only 6 Euro! HOW RIDICULOUS IS THAT!  I also have now tried the local speciality of liquor which is called Grappa.  This liquor is made from the remaining contents of the fermented wine, it kind of tastes odd at first but has a really sweet after taste almost like Hi-C or something of that variety.  Last night I did a blueberry flavored one, it wasn't horrible but I don't think I'll be doing it again.

the famous blueberry grappa (looks like Dimatap to me)

this is a  local italian soccer team jumping up and down and partying with CIMBA students haha
